Setting up an interactive online auction.
The system is easy to promote, use and produces results:
1. Online Participants are invited while Advertising the event: As an addition to the normal publicity and marketing campaign being developed to promote the event the opportunity is presented to prospective bidders that can not attend the auction to still be involved.
2. Registration Forms submitted: Respondents that have indicated their interest to be online auction bidders are forwarded a registration form that authorises bids to be placed to a nominated maximum on their behalf. Bidders will also be sent the auction details and time of the auction and an itemised list of the items and auction lot numbers pertaining to the auction. The registration form will confirm their involvement in bidding for items of their interest.
3. Prior to the Auction: Online Participants will be notified via TXTmail to bid on specific auction items requested via their Auction Registration Form only minutes prior to the auction. They will place their bids as a reply to the bid TXT.
4. Bidding from Home: As bids from the various online bidders are received these will collate on the smsinbulk system where the auction administrator will collect the final bids just prior to the live auction in preparation to begin submitting bids to the auctioneer for the online participants. Bids will be bided live by the online administrator.
5. Bid Notifications: All online bidders will be notified via TXTmail as to the outcome of bids placed on their items of interest.
6. Payments and or Invoicing: As authorised by bidders on the Auction Authorisation Forms bidders accounts will be processed or invoiced as requested (ie: Credit and or Debit Card). This will be done by the auction organisation.
